Depuis quelques temps, je souhaitais à ma façon rendre mémoire par la photographie à quatre proches disparus. Malheureusement le grand écart d’âge et la vie ne m’ont pas permis de passer autant de temps que je l’aurais souhaité à leurs cotés…
Tout comme moi ils étaient très proches avec la mer. C’est pour cela que je tenais à leur adresser ce petit geste, qui restera je l’espère à jamais encré dans cette immensité aquatique auprès d’eux.
Ce jeudi en fin de matinée de mai 2021, le ciel était très nuageux laissant échapper une éclaircie temporaire. Le vent soufflait fort, je me sentais dans mon élément, l’eau étant toute proche. Je dessinais un coeur assez volumineux pour y écrire les quatre prénoms à l’intérieur et y déposer une très belle rose rouge à son extrémité qui malgré le fort vent, résistait. L’instant vécu était magnifique et chargé d’émotions.
Les minutes passantes, la marée commençait à monter et à effacer mon coeur et finalement ma belle rose rouge fut emportée par le tourbillon des vagues…pour l’éternité.

For some time now, in my own way, I wanted to bring back the memory of four missing relatives through photography. Unfortunately the big age gap and life did not allow me to spend as much time as I would have liked with them …
Like me, they were very close to the sea. That is why I wanted to send them this little gesture, which I hope will remain forever anchored in this aquatic immensity with them.
This Thursday at the end of the morning of May 2021, the sky was very cloudy letting escape a temporary clearing. The wind was blowing hard, I felt in my element, the water being very close. I drew a heart large enough to write the four first names inside and put a very beautiful red rose at the end which, despite the strong wind, resisted. The moment lived was magnificent and full of emotion.
As the minutes went by, the tide began to rise and erase my heart and finally my beautiful red rose was washed away by the swirling waves … for all eternity.
